Bunong Community Elephant Tours Organizer

One day Bunong Community Elephants visit in Putang village(no ride).

Tour Cost 35 USD per person (2 package to 10 package)

-       Visit the village of Bunong people (Putang Village).

-       Introduction of the elephants and stories of the Bunong people.

-       Learn how about the elephant and how to speak to the elephant.

-       Have lunch break and relax at the waterfall and visit the farm.

-       Enjoy swimming with elephant the washing.

-       Hop on the elephant and walk back to the village.

Yok Sros Phlom or (Phnom Dos Kramom) Resort

• Welcome to Vanny guide from Putang village, Senmonorrom twon of Mondulkiri province of Cambodia.
• Here is the spirit place where is most Khmer and Bunong people going there for praying and see very good landscape the top of this hill and see city from top of this hill as well.

The Yok Sros Phlom or Phnom Dos Kramom Resort is located in Dos Kramom Village, Sokhdom Commune, Sèn Monorom District; 3 km away from the provincial town. It can be accessed by path.

There are more than 2,092 families living in the Phnom Dos Kramom area of over 100 ha, whose main occupations are farming.

This resort is managed by the Department of Culture and Fine Arts. Its main point of interest is the mountain covered by grass from its foot to its top, which big trees hardly grow on except near valleys and streams. The mountaintop overlooks the beautiful landscape of the provincial town of Mondul Kiri and majestic natural mountainous forest.

  

Leng Pok Prah ( Kbal Preah ) Waterfall

Léng  Pok Brah (Kbal Preah )Waterfall Welcome to Vanny's guide here is the picture of  Léng Pok Brah Waterfall in Khmer called ( Kbal Preah waterfall) is located in Romanea Commune, Sèn Monorom Town ; and the distant of this waterfall is around  20 km from Putang village of Senmonorrom town .and also  It can be reached  there by path, with Elephants riding , Trekking by on foot to reached there as well. There are more than 600 families living in the Putang village where  the way to   Léng  Pok Brah  area, whose main occupations are farming.and their Ethnicity is Bunong people . During the rainy season, the waterfall is 8 meters in hight and 39 meters in diameter. During the dry season, the waterfall is 10 meters in height and 20 meters in diameter. At its base, there is a big water reservoir in which tourists can swim happily. Besides, there are many big trees providing cool shade for them. Its main points of interest are a spectacular waterfall, dramatic mountainous forest, impressive undulating hills, and fresh air.

Putang: Elephant Trekking in jungle (2Ds/1ND)

                             Day 1
7:30-8.00   Breakfast at restaurant.
8:00-8:30   depart from hotel to Putang Village by car or Motorbike.
8:30-9:00   Visit around Putang Village and you know of their culture and traditional house.
9:00-11:00 depart from village to O'Te River and have lunch there.
12:00-3:00 we continue trekking to a waterfall (Kbal Preah) about 4h.
3:00-4:00   go swimming waterfall.
4:00-5:00   make cooking for dinner by local guide and elephant driver.
5:00-6:00   over night stay in the jungles with small cottage closely the waterfall hank up with hummock Mosquito net.

7:30-12:00 Have breakfast and continue trekking with elephant to another indigenous village (Poutrom) or Dom Rey Chhon village.

02:00             Continue trekking in the forest for about 2 hours.

04:00             Arrive at village (Leng Khen) dinner and overnight stay in the village.

                                     Day 2 

09:00             After breakfast, continue trekking in the forest to a waterfall(Lenk Pokbras)

11:30             Arrive at the waterfall, Relaxing, Swimming and Lunch.

02:00-04:00   Continue trekking from waterfall to another Phnong village(Putrom) and back to hotel.

07:30     -Leave town by motor to Putang village, take 15 minutes for visiting and observing local environment and people, and then trek by elephant to jungle and see people farming, forest, river, and bird.

02:30     -Trek back to different way ti see beautiful landscape along the way.

Pulong /Putang: Elephant Trekking inJungle(2Ds/1N)

08:30am    Departure from restaurant to PouLong by motor/car  

09:00am    The elephant trekking will be started to LengKhay Waterfall

11:30am    Swimming,Picnic, and lunch at Phnong Farm and relaxation.

12:30pm    Continue elephant trekking in the forest to farm in the forest.

03:30pm   Arrive at the farm free time to relaxing, swimming, cooking and overnight stay in the forest.

                                         Day 2

07:30am   Have breakfast prepare by the tour guide and then continue elephant trekking in the forest.

11:00am   Arrive at a waterfall relaxing, Swimming, Picnicking, and having lunch at the waterfall.

01:30pm   Continue elephant trekking from the waterfall go back to PouLong village(2h).   

03:30pm   Arrive at PouLong village then tour in the village to see the Phnong house and daily life.
